Golden Age of Grand Prix Racing (Limited Edition)
"The man with natural ability uses finer limits than the man who has none. It is like a born artist being able to place paint on a canvas and make it a picture, whereas the majority of us would only make a mess. For I consider motor racing an art." - Jim Clark
This is a series of mixed-media illustrations showing a selection of cars from the golden age of grand prix racing; from a time when constructors were racing in the workshop to innovate almost as hard as the drivers raced on the tracks, risking their lives to cross the line first.
Also available under separate listings are prints showing The Birth, The Modern Age and The Future of GP Racing - everything from the first smokey racers with biscuit-thin wheels, right up to the latest aerodynamically perfect hybrid formula cars.
Prints are available as A4, A3 and A2. The individual cars are available as postcard mini-prints under separate listings.
These are part of a Limited Edition print run of 50 at each size. All prints are individually signed and numbered by the artist.
All are made as high-quality Giclée prints on heavyweight matt Hahnemühle German Etching Art Paper (310gsm). Please note that this is a high-quality archival cotton-based fine art paper; it should be handled and mounted carefully!
All prices include postage and packaging. Express and international shipping is available at additional cost.
